随着“中国—东盟自由贸易区”的发展进程，中国与东盟国家的经贸往来得到了迅猛发展，并呈现出方兴未艾、日上日妍的趋势。
在此形势下，河北省商务厅所属河北省国际经贸联络中心通过整合优势资源，开发建设了“东盟商品展贸中心”，旨在汇聚市场要素资源，为东盟国家的生产商、销售商、物流商及服务商等企业和机构搭建一个拓展中国市场和增进与中国投资合作的平台。

1、河北内环京津，毗邻渤海，GDP排名中国第六位。以河北为中心的京津冀经济圈有1.2亿消费人口的高端市场，是中国市场容量最大、最集中的地区。

ASEAN Commodity Tradeshow Center is operated by Hebei international economy & business liaison center subordinated to Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as “Liaison Center”). As a professional agency ,the Liaison center not only promotes economic and trade communication between Hebei province and home & abroad enterprises, meanwhile the operation and maintenance of many working-websites under the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce, such as “Invest in Hebei” and “Hebei commerce”which covering all of Hebei province and accumulating a great deal of economic and trade cooperation projects. 东盟商品展贸中心将按国别分设展厅，并为各加盟企业设置独立精品展柜，建设电子商城并实现在线查询及交流洽谈等功能，是传统的厂家办事处与现代的电子商务相结合的B2B平台模式，而得到这种服务模式的全年费用不超过东盟企业单个展位参展一次“中国—东盟博览会”的整体费用（如加盟一年费用为18000元人民币，连续加盟三年，每年平均费用只有15000元人民币），服务内容包括商品展示、现场推介、网络推介、走出去推介等等，展贸中心还将至少每季举办一次大规模的推介宣传活动，并对中方企业的采购意向与东盟企业进行及时的、全程的跟踪促进服务，直至成交。
Exhibition halls will be divided by countries in ASEAN Commodity Tradeshow Center. Meanwhile, ASEAN Commodity Tradeshow Center will set up independent competitive products showcase for joined companies, constructs E-Business Mart, realize multi-functions such as online inquiry, negotiation and exchange. The B2B model combines with the traditional liaison office and modern e-commerce, enterprises will benefit from the service model and annual costs is less than the total price of a single booth in "China - ASEAN Expo" .(For example, joined fee of one year is RMB18,000 yuan, if enterprises join three years in a row, the average annual cost will be only RMB15,000 yuan).The services including the commodity demonstration, on-site introduction , networks promotion, “go global” projects introduction etc. The Tradeshow Center will also hold large-scaled introduction activities at least per quarter in each year and provide opportune services for ASEAN enterprises with purchasing intentions until making a real deal.

The websites, such as “Invest in Hebei” and “Hebei commerce”, are maintained and operated by Liaison center, contain a large number of cooperation projects and the supply & demand information, provide a huge consumer market and accurate consumer demand for ASEAN enterprises; The liaison center relies on information resources of Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce, will be earlier and more accurate understanding market &policy trends so as to provide more integrated and long-term valuable information for ASEAN enterprises.
