平山县交通局公路站2001年4月，在西柏坡镇西沟村承包荒山6000亩，承包期限为50年，年承包费为5000元，十年一付，期满后可再续包，拟建红军长征革命教育某地。该项目由石家庄计划委员会立项，总投资7327.5万元，此项目建设年限为3年，投资利润率为11.9%。主要建设内容：一是模拟长征路线及沿途重要历史题材景观；建瑞金、湘江、乌江、娄山关等21个纪念、展馆，10余个模拟景观；二是对6000亩山场进行立体综合生态环保治理。现已投资500万元，其中，绿化荒山2000亩，酸枣接大枣20万棵，打大口井2眼，修山顶大水池3座，上变压器2台，架设线路2800米，修路3000米，修防洪堤5000立方米，建矿泉水厂一座。
红军长征革命教育基地距西柏坡纪念馆2公里，距石家庄80公里，位于207国道北侧，拥有西柏坡纪念馆80万人次的游客资源。该项目建成后可与西柏坡纪念馆形成二日游，与其共荣、共存、共发展。平山县委、县政府、西柏坡镇党委、政府都给予了我们政策上的倾斜和优惠，以实际行动为红军长征革命教育基地保驾护航，投资环境非常优越。虽然该项目已完成立项及水、电、路建设，但距项目建成还有6000多万元的资金缺口，欢迎各界有识之士前来和我们洽谈合作。

The Revolutionary Education Base about Long March of Red army is being set up by
Road Station of pingshan County Traffic Bureau, 6000 mu barrcn hill has been
contracted for 50 ycars in Xigou village, Xibaipo town and the fees are 25,000
yuan RMB. The deadline may be extended. This project is approved by Shijiazhuang
plan commission, would bc finished in three years. The total investment is
73,275,000 yuan RMB, and the investmental profit rate is 11.9 perccnt. The main
contents are：One is Simulating up 21 memorial and exhibition halls, over ten
Simulating scenarys and scenes; The other is ccologily administrating barren
hill for 6,000 mu. Now 5,000,000 yuan RMB has been invested to planting 2,000
mu、grafting 200,000 wild date trees to date trees、drilling 2
wells、tcansformers、spaning with circuitry and pipeline 2,800 meters, building
3,000 meters dam and one minral water factory.
The Revolutionary Education Base about Long March of Red army is 2 kilometers to
Xibaipo memoral hall, is 80 kilometcrs to Shijiazhuang, is the north of 207
State Road, and it has the resources of 800,000 visitors. It would prosper、exist
and develop with Xibaipo. Pinshan county and Xibaipo town commission and
government all support this project in policies. To this day, the construction
of water、electricity and road has fisnished, but over 6,000,000 RMB is short.
